In creating this game, I have attempted to build a machine not only for generating horror stories, but also for inducing the experience of horror in the player. Every element of the game was designed with that aim specifically in mind– from the unique take on "character creation", to the Horror Spiral dice mechanic and its gradual erosion of player agency, to the deliberately isolating nature of the Exquisite Corpse-like Multi GM/Single Player system. Will the stories that emerge from your play be similar, or something totally different and unexpected?
