Welcome to the Bureau of Occult Observation, a mostly secret government agency dedicated to investigating the supernatural.  You're part of a field team of Bureau agents for an extremely underfunded agency and honestly you try to avoid introducing yourself by the official abbreviation whenever possible, but when things get spooky, you're the one with jurisdiction, as much as every other agency would rather not call you.
