The night draws closer.
This is a solo journaling game about preparing for a magical masquerade ball. Your equipment: a pack of playing cards  something to record your preparations You may also decide to bring a mask and costume of your own design, but these are always optional. Time takes a different form here. There is no hurry to achieve perfection. Record your thoughts about each preparation you make and the people you encounter and assist. Play until you wish to begin the event, or head home and leave it to others to open the doors.  This is an alternate version of The Night Lasts where you play as someone preparing the event rather than a person in attendance. Many experiences in this series of games are connected but they can be played in any order!
