Lichcraft is an 8-page PDF set up to be played by 2 or more players using the simple D6 pool resolution mechanic inspired by Forged in The Dark Systems, with a dystopian setting, collaborative world building, unique characters that use their politics, hobbies and day jobs as sources of power for spellcasting.The game takes place on Earth at around 2050 AD but has no real-world historical references or cultural influences beyond science fiction tropes such as cyberpunk aesthetics, magical items like wands with glowing runes (Lichcraft spells), spaceships that shoot lasers from their engines and alien races living in the solar system who are able to wield magic.Characters start by choosing a primary source of power for spellcasting which can range from supernatural creatures they've encountered on adventures or found hidden within themselves, ancient artefacts containing magical lore (Lichcraft spells) passed down through generations, secret societies with advanced knowledge and technology that promise access into the unknown world beyond Earth's atmosphere.There are also social classes in Licheft society but not race-based like other D&D campaigns which allows for different types of characters to exist together without tension or hostility between them (but each character should be aware they can't just take from others and live off their
