The Red Lady is a surreal horror roleplaying game where players navigate through an unknown
dreamlike world in pursuit of their yearning figure that haunts them constantly throughout gameplay
with simple mechanics relying on dice rolls and skill checks, including memory loss for memories
only to reveal visions. It's designed as one-session play while replayed infinitely due the presence
of a guide script providing prompts for each player interpretation without clear answers or
indication in its setting about what it could mean at any time meaning nothing at all with no
significance conveyed through repeat tellings when played aloud within your own mind. The game
consists of three acts, two intermissions and is based on Breaethless by Fari RPGs developed &
authored by René-Pier Deshaieis-Gelineas under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License license for
our use with simple mechanics relying solely upon dice rolls to determine success in any action
while the game's theme remains constant throughout repeat tellings within each player's mind without
clear indication of its meaning or significance conveyed through their actions as symbols return and
patterns emerge from the gameplay experience offering clues but not enough information about what it
could mean at all times, just like The Red Lady itself.
