The Scene Unfolding Machine (SUm) is a GM emulator that helps game masters create engaging storylines during solo role-playing games, such as those played on the "Plot unfolding machine" system popularized by Joe Lillard. It provides both player and NPC actions to fill in blank moments within scenes without needing additional players or NPCs acting simultaneously with your characters' plots running concurrently in real time alongside them but not influencing their stories at any point during play. The SUm allows you to create complex world-building elements for your games, such as "D100 tables" of random possibilities that can be combined and used creatively throughout the game session without needing a GM or plot unfolding machine specifically tailored toward generating these combinations according to specific needs within individual scenes in progress at any given time.
