In this story, a group of characters living small-town lives are affected when their homes start to come alive at night. They discover that they must fight for survival against the scarecrows which have taken over each home in turn throughout the day until now it's almost midnight and still no one has returned from town or is available as backup if necessary, making them more desperate than ever before! The story then focuses on how to survive among this new threat. * "The Night of the Scarecrow" takes place when small-town characters wake up each day feeling like something sinister might happen at any moment but in reality it's just their imagination playing tricks with them, as they discover that someone is stealing bales of hay from a secondhand clothes store and throwing entire scarecrow through its window. * The story also delves into how to survive this dangerous situation when the townfolk are still asleep until after midnight each night in order for there not be enough backup available if something happens while they sleep, making it more desperate than ever before!
