FURTHER THRESHOOLDS is an interactive horror-comedy game where players play cards with friends or solo to determine their fates based on random draws from a deck of tarot card suits, which are used as doors for the player characters. The goal in each round/stage is survival against supernatural threats that appear randomly and come closer by stages (1st stage: monsters appearing; 2nd & 3rd stages: more dangerous creatures). Once reached certain thresholds or encounter specific cards during drawing rounds, players may make decisions to either continue their journey for new challenges at the cost of losing progress in prior levels/gates. The game also offers a variety of different scenarios and outcomes based on randomly determined card values (e.g., "Blessings" bring fortune), which can affect gameplay choices or even alter cards' appearances, adding an extra layer to each level's unpredictable nature while maintaining the core horror experience for both players who understand the lore behind their chosen stories/cards in a deck of tarot suits and those new to this type.
