KNAVE is a rules toolkit created by Ben Milton for running old school fantasy RPGs without classes. This version is a hack by Alex Tokarczyk and Niall Boyd, designed to be used to run semi-historical or sword & sorcery adventures set in Roman Britain. In particular, it is inspired by Robert E. Howard’s stories of Bran Mak Morn - Last King of the Picts, and Cormac Mac Art - the Gaellic seawolf. All art is either in the public domain or has been created by Midjourney and other AI art generators. This is version 1.0 (January 2023).
