Little Gods is a rules-light game for 3 to 6 players that combines elements of small city building with roll-under d20 mechanics inspired by Kiki's Delivery Service and An American Tail, where each player chooses an embodiment or "Little God" from the various traits in their character sheet. The Newcomer must navigate through challenges against core beliefs like traditions while experiencing growth as they become more connected to different aspects of the city such as economics, society, culture, art, etc., all with a focus on building and exploring together in an urban environment alongside someone looking for change or better life options.
