A postbox is an abandoned letter box located near a house that was used for years to receive letters and cards from people who were interested in maintaining communication with friends, family or acquaintances before it eventually fell into disuse due to neglect by its owner(s). People still find the postboxes themselves today. The game ghostbox is about using abandoned letter boxes as a metaphor of time lost waiting for replies during an extended conversation where no response can be made on one side and tracking what happens over years with this box's contents that will become forgotten forever at its end when both sides are gone, creating the player
