Do you like tales of the strange overtaking the normal and fucking it all up? Do you think that kind of thing is a good horror story? I do, so I wrote this game. Banal Horrors is a game about mixing the mundane, like food and jobs, with the eldritch. Reality no longer obeys rules you understand, and the neighborhood is starting to feel like it's not for you.  Unfortunately leaving town is impossible by normal means. You need to learn about the eldritch horrors that control things here, and the laws they follow.  This game serves as a toolkit for those wanting to build or run a game where players try to live their lives around the horrific and strange!
