2X712x71 was created as an updated version of the 1978 ruleset for Mutant Future campaigns that aims at preserving and simplifying certain aspects while bringing related sections together in one document without losing common sense descriptions like "The referee will be able to find plenty more hazards by reading between these lines.". It is currently v1.0, a complete editable text with CC BY- NC-SA 4.0 license terms released on March 9th 2023 at the same time as Mutant Future: Beyond Cyberspace was published in 2020 and updated for 2021 (v3.2).
