The Whale Attack is a survival game that takes place on an island overrun with Whales. Players must work together to defend the ship from these creatures and scavenge for supplies while avoiding being hunted themselves or getting injured in dangerous situations like whaling attacks by whales, underwater storms, fires aboard ships caused by explosives set alight intentionally during war attempts against nearby enemy boats carrying survivors of a sunken submarine with ammunition stowed. The game includes mechanics such as dice rolls to determine actions and outcomes for players on the island map board which also features different kinds of Whales, weather elements like rain or wind storms from whales' attacks that can damage ships in real time without being affected by crew members inside them trying to survive until they are rescued at port. The game ends when all survivors have been saved but with a maximum number of lives required for the final boss whale and its army which players must defeat before leaving island if successful, adding an element of risk- reward gameplay that keeps people on their toes while maintaining tension in high stakes situations like being hunted by whales or losing supplies due to bad weather conditions.
