SAFETY TOOLS: The story of Resurrection Mary is a ghost story, and deals with death and what comes after. Make sure to check in with each other during the game and take breaks if needed. Made for the 12 word RPG game jam A nano-TTRPG about Resurrection Mary, a ghost story local to my hometown of Chicago. Legend has it that Mary got into an argument with her boyfriend at the Oh Henry Ballroom in Willow Springs, Illinois. She began walking home along Archer in the dead of night before being killed by a hit-and-run driver. She was buried in Resurrection Cemetery in a white dancing dress and matching shoes.She appears to drivers asking for a ride, only to disappear when the reach the cemetery. Photo credits: [1] [2]
