Kill the Beast?
A game where players assume roles as villagers living on an idyllic medieval village, with the recent discovery by some local farmers about strange creatures in nearby forest causing fear to spread among them and their town meeting is called for discussing this situation while addressing problems caused due to such beasts. The gameplay involves five rounds of discussion over a series of topics including public safety concerns regarding negative economic impacts on villagers, exploitation opportunities offered from the creature's existence as well as any environmental stewardship obligations they have towards nature in general that can be affected by them living around and potentially also causing harm or destruction through their actions for instance. The facilitator leads each round to ensure a fair chance is given among all participants while keeping discussions focused on specific topics of interest, whereas the players should answer factual questions about setting as well as socratic ones regarding interactions between previous details established in game with any new additions introduced during gameplay that may be affected by them and need further clarification.
