"Waysofsensing" is an immersive single-player game that can be played solo on a daily commute, without any direct interaction with others or need for internet access beyond your phone's hotspot/wifi connection to play and earn rewards in the form of virtual currency. The player character uses their mobile device camera app as they take pictures through various everyday objects (from coffee cups to books), which are then combined into a single-page digital scrapbook that allows them to explore unique scenes from different places around town, including parks with fountains and city sidewalks featuring vintage ads or modern graffiti art. The game includes several branching paths for the player character's imagination based on their mood (e.g., "worried" mode will feature gloomy backgrounds) as well as options that reward them if they take good photos in order to add more virtual currency, which can be spent at various shops and businesses around town or used to enter special prize contests with larger rewards than the game's initial offering of $10 worth.
