Atla's is a rules light role-playing games (RPG) that focuses on gameplay and storytelling rather than rigid adherence to predetermined roles or character classes like other RPGs might offer; players create characters based off of descriptions instead, allowing for greater flexibility in play styles within the same game. The Atlas also includes 36 playable worlds with concise settings accompanied by detailed exploration elements as well as social challenges along side their main protagonists' unique SKILLS and attributes which are not reliant on numeric ratings but rather solely rely upon a player's ability to judge an action based off of descriptions relating specifically to character SKILLs. Players can also use two useful tables for advancing the story, although no die mechanic is included in Atlas
