The game features naval officer characters commanding unique spaceship fleets for either the Gas Giant Combine or its main defense against these attacks; players can customize their spacecraft with different weapons setups while also playing cards that represent them being selected to be part of various operations on behalf of the GGC's member worlds, serving both as pirates and space troopers.
