You start running in the shadows! Runners is a game based on the Breathless SRD by Fari RPGs and a hack of the Renegades build by René-Pier Deshaies, which focuses more on fluid storytelling than survival!  As for most of my Breathless hacks, this 4 pages (cover to sheet) game has all you want to replicate the thrill of classic shadow running or cyberpunk games, in a streamlined and compact format, with interesting features capturing the flavour through simple mechanics!  O Pick one of three Roles (Agent, Tech or Mage), granting you an extra Skill and a Shield (preventing a Skill from decreasing once)O Pick one of three Knacks (Combat, infiltration and Flattery), granting you an extra Shield. O The game uses the Declare a Truth feature you see in Renegades, which can be used to overcome dire situations or to make the world's lore wider and deeper!  This solid, enhanced and standalone game includes all you need to start running in seconds!  Get ready and.   O You then choose a free AUG (a physical enhancement granting special permissions or shields) and you are ready to go!   O The game uses Stims (injection boosters you can use twice per Rest or become vulnerable).
