Impulse is a one-page (or one-sheet) tabletop RPG in the style of fast-paced, cinematic action-adventure movies and games, written for the 2023 One-Page RPG Jam. You don't need dice to play — just the game, something to write with, and one to five friends. Roleplay your character to gain narrative Hooks like Focus, Momentum, and Presence, and spend them to take dramatic action! There are no dice and no random elements; just play like you're watching a movie, and follow the fiction. Crack one-liners — think fast — and act on Impulse.
