Ocean's 2400 is an updated version of Blades In The Dark that allows players who enjoy fast-paced cinematic hiests like those found on TV shows such as Mission Impossible, Italian Job and 11 to experience this action sequence genre within their own gaming world with custom content in the form of a heist game. Players take on different roles (Face) which they must use during the course of an event that will be determined by random factors ranging from high energy solutions or bypassing laser defenses amongst other tasks such as cracking safes and hacking computers to steal valuable assets, all while remaining within the same gaming experience without losing any progress once past certain milestones. Players can also interact with characters they encounter throughout their heist journey using a variety of different tools provided by waypoints on a map along with in game generators that create high stake situations based off predetermined elements such as how far players have progressed, or when random events are triggered within the story progression to add an element of unpredictable danger.
