The game Heart & Glory (formerly known as Hearts of Iron) takes place within a fantasy world where players play characters who embark on adventures to acquire fame, wealth, power or glory by battling powerful foes and discovering hidden secrets in the vast landscape dotted with dangerous dungeons, caverns, cities and more. Players use standard dice sets for their rolls while additional reference sheets are available depending upon what rule-set they want to work off of - either Blades In The Dark (BtD) material licensed from John Harper or Heart & Glory's own creation based on BtD; a game that is still in progress and can be learned with minimal experience. Players play as heroes, risking lives for fame/fortune while the Game Moderator serves to control player interactions within this story-driven roleplaying adventure where players become embroiled through their choices made throughout gameplay sessions (encounters).
