Necesitarás dos dados de seis caras, lápiz y goma y algo para señalar tu posición y la de los zombis en el mapa de la ciudad (puedes usar cubos, fichas, monedas, trozos de papel, etc. El juego incorpora mecánicas similares a las de los juegos de mesa mezclándolas con la narrativa propia de los juegos de rol.
