Almost every other yokai (and even the odd human) is stronger than you - and while it’s generally downplayed, Gensokyo is a place where might makes right and the strong come out on top. It’s played with a GM and 2-4 other players. It’s not much, but it’s enough to keep people from taking your metaphorical lunch money.
