Arsenic & Old Lace is set in the age of sail (mid 15th century through the mid 20th century) with the backdrop of the English Civil War (or the 30 Year War or any war during that time frame). Arsenic & Old Lace is an experiment in taking the concepts found within Sword & Backpack and cranking it up to ten! This game includes the "invisible rule book" that Referee's in the Free Kriegsspiel Revolution movement use to make sure rulings stay fair and consistent for their own games. The setting possesses a supernatural element with a dash of mythos.
