The Rhythm of the Rhyme is a celebration of poetry. You can find poetry everywhere, even if it doesn't look or sound like it: from music to clever wordplay on memes and social media, the power of poetry evolves and lives on. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't still create poetry!

The Rhythm of the Rhyme is a set of six bookmarks —one with instructions for the collection, and five with specific rules for making poetry— in which you'll use dice and something else to make poetry. Will you use random words, your memories, your week, or even a book to write your next poem? Why not do them all?

Originally, this game included two bookmarks for free: the instructional bookmark and the first game bookmark. Those two are still free, both as images to the right and as a demo below!

The demo includes two individual images, but the purchase includes a single-page PDF so you can print them all at once! And if you have a laminator, you can even laminate the whole sheet and have six solid bookmarks. ? 

The Hyper 1 HOUR Game Jam

This game was created for Hyper 1 HOUR Game Jam #54 (Sudden Rhythm), which means we literally made it in an hour! Or, well, we made the first two bookmarks in that time. Then we finished the collection, edited, and polished it before creating the single-page PDF.
