This Party Sucks is an interactive storytelling experience where players take on a character undergoing emotional turmoil after their recent breakup, attending three parties while avoiding thoughts of ex-partner(s). Players work together to create humorous and honest narratives that are reflective of the main protagonist's relationship histories. The game features updated PDF versions for digital reading purposes as well as print/play zine format with expanded gameplay tools based on playtest feedback such as character creation, theme selection, managing tone if desired humorously or awkwardly close to players' own personal stories and random character generation tool designed specifically for this project here available through Patreon.
