Canon Modules are a tool for and philosophy of lore design for TTRPGS, built to engage and invest players, while embracing the inherent mutability of the medium. Inside this zine is an explanation of the Canon Module tech, including a breakdown of each element, examples to work off of, procedures for implementation in campaigns and system design, all accompanied by commentary on the ideas behind the development and use of the systems. Created as a part of my Zinevember 2023 project.
