The game presents a unique combination of science fiction and role-playing elements through its story involving the protagonist being an atomic robot who becomes involved in scientific espionage missions as well as battles across different eras with various allies such to uncover secrets.The Atomic Robo RPG has players create characters from multiple time periods, each equipped with their own skillset based on that era's tech level or specialty (such a detective, spy etc.). The game features full-color electronic PDFs and takes about 10 minutes per player session for playing times ranging between one to many hours. Players can jump into the story in either ten minute chunks or take up time as they like with behind-the scenes rulebook material adding depth without slowing down gameplay speed.
