Lady Blackbird
Lady Blackbird is an adventure module for up to six people, set in the universe of Wild Blue Yonder. It includes a starting situation and quick-play rules that are perfect for no-prep games lasting one or more sessions. The pregenerated characters include Prince Lucian de Tarka Thrakkon's wife Lady Blackbird (the player character), along with her trusted smuggler, the Owl; Imperial captain Captain Sorrow of Hand of Sorrow fame and his crew on a false flag ship pursuing them down to Haven halfway point. HOWEVER: just before reaching the midway mark aboard The Crow & Wolf's Eagle-Starlight yacht (owned by Cyrus Vance) Lady Blackbird is captured, her bodyguard killed in self defense at close quarters; Imperial captain Captain Sorrow now suspects she hired a smuggler to board his ship and accuses them of piracy. LADY BLACKBIRD: But you'll never get away with it! I've got my own fleet out here waiting for me, ready to back up when the time is right—and soon that will be happening too fast if we don't find a way off this ship before your crew decides they want some of us alive...
