Being Looked At is an adventure game about exploring the mind and discovering new fears while
dealing with loneliness in everyday life. Players take on the role of isolated characters living
typical lives where they encounter unique threats that only they can see, but no one else does so
far as their eyesight remains unreliable due to being looked at by a strange guy who looks straight
through them despite his appearance's ambiguity and unknown origin or motives making everything even
more confusing. A standard deck of 52 playing cards is required with 10 tokens for recording your
play along side an audio/video device, but pen-and-paper works as well without any significant
difference in the gameplay experience; a tumbling block tower can be used to add extra challenge and
difficulty where it's optional according
