Something happened and the lights are out. The powers that be have texted to inform you that the electricity where you are is gone, it’s not coming back, and cell service will go with it in roughly an hour. Something Happened & The Lights Are Out is a short story game about 2 people who live far apart having their last conversation before communication is cut off entirely.  It's played in the dark, over the phone, and with a timer. It's a game about reflecting on the world that was and the connections you made there, and about wondering whether you're really ready to say goodbye. It was written for the Good Morning Apocalypse game jam, appropriately in the wee small hours of the morning.As seen on the Party of One podcast!
