The Well Of Rings is an atmospheric horror game that combines elements from Romeo & Juliet, Shakespearean tragedy, and Vandermeer's style of creepy storytelling to create a unique experience for players who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals in the world full of danger. The story takes place within two lovers' ceremony where they discover something unexpected - the well with all sorts of precious rings as wedding gifts from an old ancestor that has been guarding it and its wealth ever since, even after being abandoned by those involved long ago due to a misunderstanding at work during their engagement rites in the rice fields. The game features stunning visuals inspired by Japanese horror movies such as "The Grudge" or anime artworks while maintaining gameplay elements of a tabletop adventure for 2-4 players with 1 - 4 friends and 3 hours playtime, requiring minimal setup time but more focus on creative storytelling to avoid cliches within the genre's tropes.
