Clowns are a common feature in Doskvol, where they have come into their own. They were there to bring laughter; it's clear that many could use some cheering up and clowning around is what brought them here! It was an old idea posted on Twitter but edited with the help of Snupnalgle before being made for Blades in The Dark by John Harper, who also helped make this a reality. Thank you to blade_kissed for looking over it while Chris recommended picking up your ideas if they are worth their weight!The story "Clowns In Doskvol" follows the adventures of an unnamed protagonist as he encounters various clown characters in his hometown's city limits, all with distinct motivations behind them that ultimately lead him to uncover a mysterious plot involving sinister creatures. The narrator is initially skeptical and dismissive until each encounter reveals hidden secrets about their true identities or motives leading towards self-discovery for himself along the way!
