To survive and thrive, these creatures must shed their organic bodies to become purely electronic. In this new world order, people are not seen as individual units but rather a collection or "shard" based around specialized AI-driven robot frames called Rangers who hunt for relics from the past in virtual worlds before using them on missions through various mechanical beings they control physically like arms and legs attached directly to their digital form. The game is influenced by indie games, incorporating elements such as abilities (ranked d4), combat mechanics that rely solely on dice rolls without any "to-hit" roll or saves for stress, a lack of physical armor with only electronic gear available; the character's ability depends entirely upon equipment they possess and their stats are tied to it. The game is text based but has an image section containing various creatures from its world environment such as robots in distress, digital beings hunting relics before being controlled physically by Rangers' arm or leg attachments on missions outside of virtual worlds through a sci-fi dungeon crawl experience with elements like death that never comes and the need for more light
