This adventure is designed for 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons (5e) and requires no previous experience with this system, although it may be a good starting point to familiarize yourself. It takes place in Hilltop Grove on the night before Christmas Eve while there are three days until The Festival of Lights celebration begins due to an illness affecting Fairy Trees that were providing nourishment for Dryads who keep forests vibrant and fertile during winter's chillier months. A group will be able-bodied enough with experience playing 1st level characters (minimal combat) in a 3 hour session, though the story is designed so they can spend their time socializing or engaging them more to have an opportunity to use character abilities if desired. There are two VTT ready battle maps included and interior art by Hodag Rpg for cover while William Harth's covers will be available on DriveThruRPG after a link in main text has been added at the end of this paragraph that goes directly into DRIVETHRUPGRAPHICS file with title "Hilltop Grove"
