The player is an evolved mutant girl who fights against The Corporation in their dystopian city for revenge and control over her own life force (Blood). She can evolve into different machine-like forms with varying powers, abilities, modifications or stat changes depending upon the evolution selected. Her goal is to gain more Evolution points by taking damage without leveling up until she reaches a "Doomsday," either dying in an epic fight or suffering a fate worse than death if damaged too many times while trying to break free from her restraints and reclaim control over herself (or not).
