The Greatest Night Ever (GNE) involves creating an indie drama film where four events take place on a road trip through the United States over two days from start to finish without pause or rest stops, with characters in various stages of their lives struggling against secrets and tensions. It is inspired by other movies such as "Juno", "Little Miss Sunshine," Lady Bird" , Can't Hardly Wait*, Superbad* , etc., but can also be played solo for a more intimate experience without the pressure to create four events within two days on an all-inclusive tour with multiple stops. The game is part mishmash of FIASCO and Alice Is Missing, which involve adult content such as drinking, sex, drugs, religion (for players' characters), etc., but can also be played for non-"adult" purposes in the form of a romantic road trip to "the greatest night ever."
