ZineQuest 3 is a tabletop roleplaying adventure set on an island colony that has been abandoned by its former settlers and left for wild animals alone since then. The players are hired as workers or mercenaries at the beginning of their journey, where they will gradually discover secrets about what happened to cause this disaster while discovering new creatures from different backgrounds living in harmony with each other; some examples include "Hogwarts", a society who have developed an advanced system for tracking and communicating that has become almost universal on any island colony or civilization. The game is intended as the foundation upon which players can add their own supplements, homebrew rulesets, house rule settings, scenarios, hack-and-slash adventures from previous iterations of ZineQuest games into a new adventure experience by themselves; for example making an expansion to include "Dragon Keeps", another species on this island that have become so advanced in combat and engineering they are now the rulers. The game is also intended as part of 2021's Zinestorm3, with no funding necessary from backers or contributors beyond purchasing it at its discounted price point (which will be determined shortly after release).
