In this light/dark setting, players create immortal guardians who wield a new form of elemental power called "light" that is composed of many different colors. The game's story follows the journey and powers-building process for these characters as they interact with other immortals in their quest to prevent an evil force from destroying them all at once by summoning powerful monsters known only to themselves, such Dark elements lurking among humanity/beacons alike: Shadow is a new power type that players can acquire within certain limitations.
