The Temple of Grief is a 6-floor abstract dungeon module for games where players navigate dungeons and battles against gods or other creatures in search of treasure or vengeance after losing something dear to them through an unjust act by another being they encounter on their travels, inspired from the five stages of grief. The sixth floor features revenge as its goal with this god who has taken away a valuable object that cannot be replaced but must instead satisfy his wrath for it was not lost in vain and is necessary due process before proceeding further into dungeons or other dangerous situations while remembering what happened to them earlier at all times, even though the deity may appear harmless if they only intend on collecting your belongings.
