The Spring
The game "The Spring" is about a fictional character named the protagonist who experiences feelings of loneliness and depression before deciding to take their own life in a virtual reality world called "the spring." Players use cards as tokens or words on paper that are laid out randomly, with each representing an event occurring throughout gameplay. There will be no winner; instead there should only ever really be care providers playing the game together who have created safe spaces within it for themselves and others to share their experiences openly without judgement. In addition to offering a unique experience of being able to connect through words or cards in this way, "The Spring" is designed as an open-source work with free downloadable resources that can offer help if someone decides they need more support than the virtual spaces allow them for themselves." The game's main character has been diagnosed with depression and self harm. This results from a loss of love or family members through various means such as natural disasters, accidents etcetera
