Running With a Mouthful of Toast
Oh, no, not again!  Your lousy alarm clock didn’t wake you up when it was supposed to - or did you hit the snooze button too many times? You can’t remember, and at this point, that’s not important! Because you’re about to be late for school! Quick, get dressed, grab your bag, and don’t forget to nab a piece of toast on the way out (even in these dire circumstances, the importance of breakfast can’t be understated)!  Running With a Mouthful of Toast is a one-player game using the Carta system by Cat McDonald of Peach Garden Games. It blends the silliness of Saturday morning cartoons with a handful of screwball anime tropes - magical girls, giant mechs, alien invasions, time travelers, sentai squads, and strange new fantasy worlds abound along the likes of delinquent mimes, ravenous pigeons, horse girls, and good dogs that you can pet.
