By the Blood of the New Moon is a Quick Start rules set and adventure for the forthcoming Night Shift: Veterans of the Supernatural Wars RPG, which will debut the new O.G.R.E.S. old-school system. Designed by industry veterans Jason Vey and Timothy S. Brannan and using three basic and intuitive mechanics, this game allows you to model any sort of urban fantasy or horror series you like, from cheerleaders destined to hunt the forces of darkness to legacy monster hunters to fae trapped in the factional politics of a secret world.  This adventure provides all you need to play a single adventure, including a breakdown of the rules and pre-generated characters. It's designed to provide a very straightforward, basic but entertaining and self-refrential experience where you'll recognize the characters and concepts, as a demonstration of all you can do with this game.
