False Protagoniists is an ashcane version of Descende from The Queen, with no dice and set-up time requirements for 2 - 6 players (with solo play possible but not tested). It has two printable versions in development as well. Game features magical girls fighting the villainous Legion while protecting a queer community that have been impacted by their presence; it explores issues such as parasocial relationships, social anxiety, self-harm and suicide attempts associated with these experiences. The game is intended to be played without GMs or dice rolls but does feature mechanics based on Alex Roberts' original ForTheQueen system.
