The Hearth Calls is an expansion pack to Heedge and it introduces Downtime actions where players can take time out between battles with their Wardens in the Homeland they return to after fighting back Fey hordes during these moments of respite known as "heartth calls." It also includes backgrounds, a personal home holdfast that offers bonuses, missions from The Hedge itself, win/lose conditions for restoration work done by your Warden's actions on behalf of Hope being restored into their world. Lastly included is the creation and maintenance of an additional Fey Court with enemies to battle against in Thorny Bloom; they act as objectives but are ultimately Doom if not completed successfully.
