The Swarm takes place on the planet Ramse's as colonists attempt to escape their home due to an outbreak of infection called 'The Swarm'. Players take control of characters who must navigate obstacles such like hexcrawling, facing off against infected creatures and navigating dangerous zones where they might encounter a new host. However, players can use simple and fast character creation system with 3-stat points that will be used for skills during gameplay along corruption mechanic to add pressure as you reach your destination, macro/micro level exploration via hexcrawling which involves entering deep caves filled
