* A fire lookout's job in The Tower involves reporting wildfires for 6 months and watching them during hikes up to 2 days away from civilization, beyond modern amenities. They must sleep alone after climbing arduous trails with a bed, generator powering lights & supplies at one year cost; the tower is equipped with binoculars/CB radio but no Internet access or TV service available in remote wilderness location off-limits by hikers and rangers alike.
