Star Scouts is a one-card, tabletop roleplaying and strategy cardgame where players travel around the double-sided poker sized "star" on their journey to discover various planets in outer space. The goal of the player is not only to collect rewards but also earn badges along with tokens for each play session depending upon planet type such as blue suns or purple gas giants, which add more complexity and depth within gameplay compared to a similar game like Tokaido. Star Scouts takes around half an hour per set if played solo versus 15-20 minutes when playing two players; it also requires the player's ship tokens for each person they are going with along their journey until reaching four starship stations on planet cards, where everyone rests and tries local cuisine before continuing to travel further towards a final destination.
